We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2023, at the age of 100, Maxine Upmeyer of Garner, Iowa, born in Klemme, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Stokesbary and Ada Stokesbary (Peterson); her husband Merlyn Upmeyer; her son Daniel; her grandson David Wages; and her siblings, Lyle Stokesbary, Mildred Wilson, Glen Stokesbary, Marvin Stokesbary, Bonnie Osnes, Bert Stokesbary and Phyllis Devens.
She is survived by: her family Christian; her daughters, Rebecca Lucht (Darrell) of Hulbert, OK, Linda Wages (Bob) of Bixby, OK and Jill Dean (Marc) of Mason City; her daughter-in-law Susie Upmeyer of Alamogordo, NM; her grandchildren, Heather Lopez (Javier), Dylan Lucht (Amanda), Jade Winfrey (Brian) and Daniella Williams; and her sister Ruth Law of Clear Lake. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
