It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Oborny (Garner, Iowa), born in Forest City, Iowa, who passed away on November 13, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kofron and Beatrice Kofron (Malek); and her brother Jim Kofron (Barb). She is survived by: her husband Francis of Garner; her son Michael Oborny (Nickki) of Garner; her grandchildren, Skylar and Austin Oborny; her daughter Mary Ort (JR) of Clear Lake; her grandchild Kyle Ort (Angelina); her great grandchild Kylan; her grandchildren, Kody Ort (Alex), Baby O and Kollin Ort; her daughter Diane Borchardt of Mason City; her grandchildren, Shanda and Cole Borchardt; her son Bob Oborny (Melissa) of Ankeny; her grandchildren, Kayla, Derek and Will Oborny; and her brothers, Bernie Kofron (Karen) of Forest City, Roger Kofron (Connie) of Leland and Tom Kofron of Garner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Masks are suggested at both the visitation and funeral mass.
