We bid farewell to Jeffrey J. Howie of Garner, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 21, 2024 at the age of 68. Jeffrey touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howie and Dorothy Howie (Baack); his parents-in-law, Bill and Delores Gilbert; his daughter Maggie Mae Howie; his nephew Daniel Delagardelle; his niece Emily Gilbert; and his brother-in-law David Gilbert.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Howie, Jesse Howie (Shannon) and Morgan Promes (Austin); his grandchildren, Charlotte, Vinnie Howie, Ivy and Ada Promes; his siblings, Barbara Lembo (Keith), Jay Howie and Beth Delagardelle (David); and his brothers-in-law, Larry Gilbert (Pat), Willie Gilbert (Beth), Kim Gilbert (Tally Albertson) and Rick Gilbert (Diane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cataldo Funeral Home-Garner Chapel (160 E 4th St, Garner, IA 50438).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of North Iowa in memory of Jeff.
