He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Brown; his grandson Joshua James Wold; and his brothers, Norman and Jordan Wold. He is survived by: his children, Candy Engstler (Bill) of Clear Lake, Juli Thackery (Michael) of Ventura and Kerry Wold (Chris) of Danville, IN; his grandchildren, Kari Jones (Steve), Jami Enright (David), Brian Engstler (Emily), Dan Engstler (Heidi), Nicholas Thackery (Michele), Seth Thackery (Jennifer), Melodee Ward (Dustin), Samantha Quinn (Michael) and Kayleigh Rees (Cody); and his sister Judith Modene of Perrysburg, OH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church or MercyOne North Iowa Hospice.
