With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James W. Schultz of Garner, Iowa, who passed away on February 10, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schultz and Ruth Schultz (Keucker); his wife June Schmeling; and his brothers, Norman Schultz (Anna) and Charles Schultz (Shirley).
He is survived by: his children, James Jr. Schultz (Kimberly) of Lisbon and Janese Schultz Gerhardt of Omaha, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Jaclyn (Schultz), Matt Allain, Ahren Schultz, Emily Gerhardt, Hannah (Gerhardt), Cody Espelund, Rebecca Gerhardt, Joseph Gerhardt and Sophie Gerhardt; his great grandchildren, Meredith Allain, Emmett Espelund, Cecelia Espelund and Theodore Spain; and his sister Janice Mergan (Kenneth). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
