With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eugene D. Peterson of Garner, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Peterson and Selma Peterson (Haugland); his sister Colleen Curley; and his great-nephew Connor. He is survived by: the mother of his children Jane Peterson of Garner; his children, Brooke Hinders (Ryan) of Garner, Brandy Huling (Randy) of Sheffield and Brett Peterson (Shelbey) of Garner; his grandchildren, Heston, Laingstin, Quinlynn, Keanna, Keira, Keifer, Kemlin, Alexis and Beckett; his siblings, Sandra Brunsen (Jim) of Britt and Larry Peterson (Jeanie) of Garner; and his brother-in-law Rob Curley of Webster City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Garner Evangelical Free Church (580 US-18, Garner, IA 50438). A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
