She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Jernegan and Joyce Jernegan (Knutz); and her brother Kenneth (Bob). She is survived by: her husband George "Bob" Christensen; her children, Tod Christensen (Lynn) of Johnston, Saundra Formanek of Ankeny, Jennifer Malek (Shane) of Garner and James Christensen (Karyl) of Mason City; her grandchildren, Noah Christensen, Celeste Christensen, Trevor Formanek, Jourdon Formanek, Lexie Malek, Brinley Malek, Sara Christensen and Makayla Christensen; and her sister Linda Hagen (Paul) of Ankeny. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed at both the visitation and funeral service.
