Sharon Berns Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 25, 2021, at the age of 70, Sharon Berns of Garnavillo, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Moreland and Ruth Moreland (Ferguson); and her siblings, Jimmy, Roger Moreland and Carol Steiner.
She is survived by: her husband Ted Berns (Ted); her children, Sarah Yarrington (Andy) and Nathan Berns (Joelle); her grandchildren, Olivia, Nadia, Chase and Emilia; and her siblings, Shirley Buss (Jim), Judy Ferguson, Sandy Seifert (Rollin), Jean Kirschbaum (Joe), Bill Baker (Marilyn), Gary Moreland (Linda) and Vicki Young (Pat). She is also survived by mother and a very proud grandmother to her four grandchildren.
Given the current pandemic and in respect for her dedication to community health, there will be a private graveside service for immediate family at St. Joseph Cemetery in Garnavillo, Iowa.
