He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Cornwell and Eleanor Cornwell (Harbaugh). He is survived by: his wife Marlene Cornwell (Rounds); his siblings, Bruce Cornwell (Donna), Steve Cornwell (Deanna) and Brenda Schaub (Fred); his children, Rick Cornwell, Doug Caley (Billie), Kris Stocks (Jim), Roberta Lear (Murray), Lisa Schwem (Mike) and Brandy Wright (David); his uncles, Gene and Gary Harbough; and his mother-in-law Wilma Rounds.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Northeast Wyoming Community Health Foundation.
