It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Meyer of Garnavillo, Iowa, who passed away on June 1, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Meyer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Meyer and Milda Meyer (Glesne); his wife Vivian Milewsky of Garnavillo; his stepfather Delbert Roggensack; his siblings, Carroll, Robert and Aileen; his brother-in-law William Renkel; his niece Barbara Meyer; and his nephew Mark Renkel.
He is survived by: his brother Coast; his daughters, Jane Thein (Ron) of Garnavillo, Joyce Numedahl (Robert) of Ossian, Patti Wacker (Frank Jr.) of Elkader and Pauline Meyer of Appleton, WI; his grandchildren, Jacob Thein (Darla) of Kansas City, MO, Erin Schoenhard (Scott) of East Dubuque, IL, Rodney Numedahl, Richard Numedahl (Christie) of Ossian, Thomas Wacker (Ashley) of Elkader, James Wacker of Dubuque and Daniel Meyer of Chicago, IL; and his great grandchildren, Sydney, Kaci, Cole Schoenhard, Cashden, Westin Numedahl, Allianna, Jaxyn Wacker and Izabella Harbaugh-Scott. He is also survived by two nieces, a nephew and many other relatives and friends.
