He was predeceased by: his parents, Royce Backes and Joyce Backes (Werger); and his granddaughter Angel Kehoe. He is survived by: his daughter Heather Kehoe (Nathan); his grandchildren, Dacotah, Jaxon and Rohman Kehoe; and his brothers, Randy Backes (Sandy) and Rick Backes.
