She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Meyer and Marie Meyer (Schultz); and her daughter Brenda Scherf. She is survived by: her children, Bradley Scherf (Kathy) of Farmersburg, Debbie Wagner (Dale) of Elkport, Gary Scherf (Geraldine) of St. Olaf, Robert Scherf (Tammy) of St. Olaf, Dennis Scherf (Jan) of St. Olaf, Randy Scherf (Kim) of Farmersburg, Lorene Scherf (Lindelle) of Farmersburg and Larry Smith (Tracy) of Garber; and her brother Gene Meyer (Lyn) of Dubuque. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Fayette County Historical Society, Fayette County Food Shelf and Crossfire Church.
