She was predeceased by: her parents, Orie Hetrick and Marvel Hetrick (Watsen); her grandson Stephen; her siblings, Jane (Lionel Breyfogle) and Orie Hetrick II; and her siblings-in-law, Lorraine (Henry Glienke) and Melvin Friedrich.
She is survived by: her husband Arliss Friedrich of Galva; her children, Audrey Friedrich of Storm Lake, Scott (Carol Friedrich) of Alta and Howard Friedrich of Alta; her grandson Matthew (Angie Friedrich) of Sioux Rapids; her sister Sally (Don Caboth) of Alta; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Friedrich of Algona. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
