It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirlee J. Howe of Fredericksburg, Iowa, born in Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Willard Mitchell and Emma Elvira Bunn Mitchell (Boots) of Muscatine Iowa; and her siblings, Jacque Mitchell and Judy Speicher. She is survived by: her former husband Donald W. Panoch; her children, William "Willie" Panoch of Milltown, WI, Brenda and Jeff Zahasky (Panoch) of Calmar, IA; her grandsons, Mitchell A. Crema (Sarah) of Butte, MT and Hunter W. Panoch of River Falls, WI; her brothers, James Mitchell (Carol Schultz) of Fredericksburg, IA and Dan Becker (Patricia); her siblings-in-law, Mary Mitchell of Kissimmee, FL and Dean Speicher of Fredericksburg, IA; the father of her children Donald Panoch; and her close friend Larry Edwards. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
