He is survived by: his wife Sharon Retterath of Fredericksburg; his children, Brenda Hanson of Fredericksburg, Sally Petersen (Craig) of Sumner and Brian Hanson of Fredericksburg; his grandchildren, Trevor Hanson, Megan Petersen and Wade Petersen; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Retterath, Ron Retterath (Teri), Linda Fagerness (Richard) and Jennifer Retterath. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
