Margery Lorraine Armbrecht Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margery Lorraine Armbrecht of Fredericksburg, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 25, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Wolken and Elna Wolken (Brucklacher); her husband Richard Armbrecht; her daughter-in-law Sue Armbrecht; her grandson Simon Scroggins; and her siblings, Rosina Borcherding, Cloris Hupfeld and Stanley Wolken.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Armbrecht (late Sue) of Cedar Falls, Ray Armbrecht (Lorraine) of Fredericksburg, Ann Scroggins of Fredericksburg, Carol Luvert (Spencer) of Cedar Falls and Mary Reno (Jerry) of Fredericksburg; her grandchildren, Matthew Scroggins (Rod Smith), Carrie Armbrecht (Dewand Young), Kyle Armbrecht (Jane), Kristen Edgington (Justin), Abby Luvert (Matthew Thomaschefsky) and Katie Reno (Jesse Jones); her great grandchildren, Keon Young (Millie), Elsie Mae, Greta Jane, Hazel Grace, Flynn Patrick Armbrecht, Bayler and Brooklee Edgington; and her siblings-in-law, Melvin Hupfeld and Bonnie Kunch (Wolken). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St Paul's Lutheran Church (222 S Washington Ave, Fredericksburg, IA 50630). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (699 N Jackson Ave, Fredericksburg, IA 50630).
