He was predeceased by: his mother Vlasta Marie Sostak (Papousek); his sister Blanche Rae Sostak; and his father Louis Sostak Sr.. He is survived by: his sisters, Violet Albrecht (Darrell) of New Hampton and Beverly Hattig (Ronald) of Fredericksburg; and his nieces and nephews, David Albrecht (Robyn) of Jackson, Duane Albrecht (Cecilia) of Mountain View, Lisa Schildroth (Matt) of Fredericksburg, Ann Heying (Rick) of Alta Vista, Colene Sassmann of Sumner and Natalee Bell (Kelvin) of Iowa City. He is also survived by several great nieces, nephews, cousins, great-great niece and a great-great nephew.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in New Hampton.
