He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Speicher and Mabel Ungerer Speicher; his former wife Diane Smith; his grandson Ryan Connell; his in-laws, Wes and Iva Jean Isenhower; and his sister-in-law Judy Speicher.
He is survived by: his wife Barb Speicher; his daughters, Jill Connell of Charles City, IA and Karen Pitz (Bill) of Fredericksburg, IA; his grandchildren, Regan Connell, Gavin Connell, Lauren Connell, Kiki Connel (Riley Witt), Emma Pitz, Ella Pitz and Will Pitz; and his brother Dean Speicher of Fredericksburg, IA..
