She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Peterson and Lenora Peterson (Haupt); her brother Donnie Peterson; her sister-in-law Judy Peterson; her son-in-law Wyatt Yearous; and her grandsons, Tanner and Jayden Brown.
She is survived by: her former husband Ronald W Brown; her children, Debra Yearous of Waukon, David Brown (Sharon) of Warsaw, MO, Duane Brown (Shelly Collins) of Fredericksburg, Denise West (Gary) of Clarksville and Deidra Westendorf of Fredericksburg; her niece Penny Lang (Joel); and her nephew Perry Peterson (Carla Becker).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church - Fredericksburg (111 S Hamilton Ave, Fredericksburg, IA 50630). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (699 N Jackson Ave, Fredericksburg, IA 50630).
