It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Jacobsen of Fredericksburg, Iowa, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Jacobsen and Bessie Jacobsen (Renslow); and his grandson Dawson. He is survived by: his former wife Gwen Paul; his wife Joan Jacobsen (Kerr) of Fredericksburg; his sons, Paul Jacobsen (Jenelle), Troy Jacobsen (Laurie) and Minneiska; his grandchildren, Mitch Jacobsen (Paige), Lindsey Jacobsen, Kailey Winterbottom (James), Tallie, Zak (Jennifer) and Alex Kerr; his great grandchildren, Miles Jacobsen, Brooks and Boston Kerr; and his siblings, John Jacobsen (Carol), Barb Kleinek and Suzanne Bruggman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, true friends, caring neighbors.
