He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Petersen and Elnora Petersen (Luhring); and his brother Dean. He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Kim Meyer (Josh) of Vinton and Brandon Petersen (Julie) of Fredericksburg; his grandchildren, Jonah, Hattie Meyer, Remi and Kane Petersen; and his brothers, Duane Petersen (Ilene) of Sumner and Donald Petersen (Julie) of Frederika. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
