It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Dwayne Miller of Fredericksburg, Iowa, who passed away on December 18, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlin Miller and Ethel Miller (Moon); his siblings, Marlys Seitz and Ronnie Miller; and his brothers-in-law, Leonard Seitz and Robert Melcher.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Miller of Fredericksburg; his children, James Miller (Christie) of Federal Dam, MN, Dailene Abbas (Kenneth) of Wellsburg and Kristin Goddard (Darwin) of Charles City; his sister Joyce Melcher of Monona; and his grandchildren, Nickole Miller, Mike Johnson, Kerri Jo Miller, Zach, Liza Mitchell, Blake, Beth Mitchell, Jodi Miller, Nick, Cammi Mitchell, Kody Miller, Kendall Abbas, Cathy Koch, Dalen Abbas (Jenna), Trent Abbas, Carl Goddard and Brian Goddard (Alison). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
His contributions to agriculture were further recognized when he was named an honorary chapter farmer, a title that spoke to his expertise and generosity in sharing his knowledge with others.
