He is survived by: his wife Janice of Fredericksburg; his children, James Nelson (Amy) of Fredericksburg, Paul Nelson of Fredericksburg, Tesha Hardy of New Hampton, Darin Virock of Ottumwa, Stephanie Kornett (Fred) of Odgen and Jason Penning (Pam) of O'Fallon, Missouri; his grandchildren, Zachary, Jessica, Hillary, Mitch, Brock, Cammie, Curtis, Paige, Jared and Jacob; and his siblings, Jon Nelson of Albert Lea, Minnesota, Bill Nelson of Albert Lea, Minnesota, Sharon Seidel of Albert Lea and Jolene Engelby of Hayward, Minnesota.. He is also survived by his 13 great-grandchildren.
