He is survived by: his aunts, Linda Schnedler of Burlington, Iowa, Noreda Schnedler of Burlington, Iowa and Judy Funk of Burlington, Iowa; his uncle Jim Leger; his cousins, James Schnedler of Burlington, Jason Schnedler of Burlington, Jeff Wineguard of Burlington, Heather William, Stormy Hopp of Fort Madison and Erin Wineguard of Canon City, Colorado; his wife Joy Schnedler; his children, Michelle Castle, Kelsey Bowen (Shane Bowen), Gabrielle Schnedler (William King), Christopher Schnedler and William Schnedler (Betty Jo); his grandson Breyen Duffie; and his close friend Joy Schnedler. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
