Randy D. Mathes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2024, at the age of 67, Randy D. Mathes of Fort Madison, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Randy may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Mathes and Bonnie Weaver Mathes; his brother Rusty; and his niece Shalyn. He is survived by: his wife Deb Mathes of Ft. Madison; his children, Sylina Barrow (Chris) of Las Vegas and Ryan Mathes of Missouri; his stepchildren, David Harter, Jr. of Independence, MO and Christina Harter of Independence, MO; and his siblings, Bonny Stuekerjuergen (Brad) of West Point and Rick Mathes of Minonk, IL.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Brad's Pad (208 8th St, West Point, IA 52656).
