He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Anderson and Bonnie Wright Anderson; his wife Alberta Nelson; and his brothers, Bob and Joe.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Anderson Jr. of Ft. Madison and Michelle Anderson; his grandchildren, Paige Anderson, Aunastasiea Bell and Michael Anderson III; and his great grandchild Tobias Anderson.
