With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melissa Sue Oaks of Fort Madison, Iowa, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on April 17, 2023 at the age of 43. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father David Palmer. She is survived by: her husband Taylor Oaks; her children, Serenity Haynes of Donnellson, Faith Rudd (Phil) of Cramlington and England (John David Oaks); her mother Mildred "Cindy" Donovan (Chapman) of Joliet, Illinois; and her brothers, Marvin Jones of Crest Hill and Jon Jones of Fort Madison, Iowa.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
