It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Thye of Fort Madison, Iowa, who passed away on September 18, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Linda Thye to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid Linda farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Linda is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nina F. Carr and Russell E. Carr; and her siblings, Ronnie Carr and Sherilyn Kamp. She is survived by: her children, Shane R. Thye (Dana) of Blythewood, Kelly W. Thye (Leslie) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Shannon S. Thye of Iowa City, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Avery, Lauren, Madelynn and Logan. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial has been established for P.A.W.S. Animal Shelter, contributions may be made through Barr Memorial Chapel.
