With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Pickerel of Fort Madison, Iowa, born in Mozier, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2024 at the age of 86. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Linda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Bailey and Hazel Hack Bailey; and her husband Kenneth Pickerel. She is survived by: her children, Christopher Pickerel (Elizabeth) of Burkburnett, TX and Suzanne Scancella of Ft. Madison; her grandsons, Bryan Scancella and Justin Majors; and her sister Shirley Macauly (Tom) of Las Cruces.
