As Lee departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lee may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lee leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Abbott and Beverly Abbott (Brockman). She is survived by: her husband Edwin "Ed" Soto of Fort Madison, Iowa; her children, Jason Saeger of Packwood, Abby Saeger of Fort Madison, Iowa and Corrie Saeger of Fort Madison, Iowa; her brother Reverend William (Pat Abbott); and her grandchildren, Bailie, Shannon, Shona and Beverly.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison (1919 Ave F, Fort Madison, IA 52627). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Barr Memorial Chapel (1919 Ave F, Fort Madison, IA 52627).
