With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kitty Winke of Fort Madison, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kitty left this world on March 16, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Hillebrand and Laura Gaedke Hillebrand; her husband Fred Winke; and her sisters, Lorena Kivlahan and Jane Hillebrand.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Kolany (Scott) of Palatine, IL, Peggy Delaney (Tom) of Downers Grove, IL, Dr. Paula Stokstad (Paul) of East Lansing, MI and Fritz Winke (Angie) of Alexandria, LA; her grandchildren, Amelia, Jillian, Charlie, Jack, Erika, Sonja, Andrew and Jude; and her sister Mary Margaret Hillebrand of Southfield, MI. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
