She was predeceased by: her parents, William Merschman and Bernice Merschman (Mettenburg). She is survived by: her husband John McKillip; her children, Megan Glass (Jason) of Iowa City, Brian McKillip (Dawna) of Fort Madison, Iowa and Mirela Carnietto of Botucatu; her grandchildren, Sam and Madison Glass; and her siblings, Jean Humphrey (Greg) of Fort Madison, Joseph Merschman (Barb) of Fort Madison, Henry Merschman (Katherine) of Fort Madison and George Merschman (Linda) of Springfield, Illinois..
A rosary was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (2204 Ave I, Fort Madison, IA 52627). A wake was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Quincy University, Holy Trinity Catholic Schools and the Regina Foundation, contributions may be left at Barr Memorial Chapel or at the church during the services.
