He is survived by: his wife Marlene Barnes of Ft. Madison; his children, Angela Lea of West Burlington and David Barnes of Burlington; his grandson Jack Matese; and his siblings, Thomas Barnes of Wayland, MO and Mary Harper of Kahoka, MO. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
