She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond John and Anna Marie Karhoff (Linkenfelder); her husband Glen P. Heins; her daughter Rebecca Lynn; her siblings, Dorothy Davis, Betty McKoon and Larry Karhoff; and her granddaughter Amanda Ellison.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Brown (Joey) of Fort Madison and James Steffen (Julie) of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; her granddaughter Kimberly Lee; her great grandchildren, Atticus and Isabelle; and her stepchildren, MaryBeth Hoskins (Jeff) of Donnellson, Glen Fredrick Heins of Donnellson and David L. Heins of Donnellson.
A memorial has been established, contributions may be made at the Barr Memorial Chapel.
