He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Burch and Mary Palliser Burch; his wife Peggy J. Ireland; his daughter Karen Cox; his grandson John Geiger; his brother Howard; and his siblings-in-law, Ben Hunold and Gloranna Burch.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronald Burch (Gail) of Ft. Madison and Tom Burch (Sara) of Pontoosuc, IL; and his siblings, Joe Burch of Wever, IA, Frank Burch of Palmyra, MO, Anita Hunold of Ft. Madison and Mary Lou Reeder of Poulsbo, WA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the King-Lynk Funeral Home (3507 Avenue L, Fort Madison, IA 52627). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
