She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schumaker and Mary Schumaker (Kendall); her spouse Carroll William "Curly" Sprenger; and her siblings, Larry Schumaker, Eddie Schumaker, Nancy Hyhouse and Betty Rempy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Kuhlmeier (Jim) of Fort Madison, Iowa, Dee Liddle (Greg) of Wever, Iowa and Rebecca Sanders (Don) of West Point, Iowa; her grandchildren, Deborah Wright (Sean), Tammy Brown (Freeman III), Kelly Knustrom (Marcus), Tracy Parks (Nate) and Stanley Sanders (Allyson); and her great grandchildren, Erica, David, Kaitlin, Kennedy, Adaley, Mikey, Opie, Mila, Paisley, Wyatt and Lane. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial has been established, contributions may be made at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison.
