Helen Hennies Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2023, at the age of 104, Helen Hennies of Fort Madison, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Grover Rohdy; her husband Howard; her mother Hazel Grimm Rohdy (Grimm); her siblings, Dale, Robert, Charles, Don Rohdy and Ruth Hennies; and her great grandchildren, Jacob and Lucas Hennies.
She is survived by: her children, David Hennies (Mary) of Arlington and Deanna Reynolds (Don) of Argyle; her grandchildren, Erinn Lind of Gilbert, Shannon Brownell of Chicago, Megan Fox (Jason) of Omaha, Michael Hennies (Rachel) of St. Louis, Sarah Mader (Brian) of Marine and Angela Davies (John) of Stillwater, Minnesota; and her sisters, Jeane Grossman and Betty Jury. She is also survived by companions and bingo partners.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Donnellson or the Donnellson Public Library.
