She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Pursifull and Thelma Pursifull (Berrier); her siblings, Bill Pursifull and Janet Greene; her son Mark Leonhard; and her stepson Doug Birchmeier.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Hudson of Fort Madison, Iowa; her children, Shawn Leonhard (Karla) of Hamilton and Jeffrey Leonhard of Camdenton, Missouri; her stepchildren, Jill Pitts (Steve) of Alabama, Janna Hudson-Birchmeier of Michigan and David Hudson (Marie) of Texas; and her grandchildren, Kyle Leonhard, Jasma "Nikki" Schwieterman, Cody Leonhard, Colbi Peterson, Taylor Birchmeier and Ashtyn Prater. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barr Memorial Chapel (1919 Ave F, Fort Madison, IA 52627). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
