She is survived by: her children, Dick Peterson (Patricia) of San Antonio, Texas, Roberta Danielson of Fairfield, Iowa, Don "Pete" Peterson of Fort Madison, Jane Finn (Tom) of Batavia and Judy Stuecker (Greg) of West Point, Iowa; her daughter-in-law Peggy Peterson; her grandchildren, Matt (Kelly), Kevin (Andi), John (Jessica), Michael, Lisa, Catie (Bryan), Ellen (Sam), Adam, Brian (Tori), Mari (Paul) and Sara (Jamie); her great grandchildren, Ava, Aiden, Lucy, Ruth, Nolan, Anthony, Allison, Gideon and Penelope "Poppy"; her grandchildren, Eva, Romy and Richie Kaufmann (Klaudija); and her great grandchild Emilia.
A rosary was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Barr Memorial Chapel (1919 Ave F, Fort Madison, IA 52627). Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison (1919 Ave F, Fort Madison, IA 52627). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (2204 Ave I, Fort Madison, IA 52627).
A memorial has been established for the Holy Family Parish and Maryknoll (mission work), contributions may be made at the church or the Barr Memorial Chapel.
