Dennis H. Pollpeter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis H. Pollpeter of Fort Madison, Iowa, who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dennis H. Pollpeter to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, August Pollpeter and Minnie Lohman Pollpeter; his granddaughter Melissa Baschke; and his siblings, Ralph, Elmer, Donald, Margie Johnson and Sister Ann Pollpeter.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Pollpeter of Ft. Madison; and his children, Craig Pollpeter (Dorothy) of Wever, Howard Pollpeter (Sally) of Ft. Madison, Alan Pollpeter (Lori) of Ft. Madison, Thomas Pollpeter of Erlangen, Paul Pollpeter of Ft. Madison and Ann Baschke (Roger) of Spencer, IA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; three step grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the King-Lynk Funeral Home (3507 Avenue L, Fort Madison, IA 52627). Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church. A burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
