She is survived by: her husband Paul of Fort Madison, Iowa; her children, Bradley Mertens (Benita) of Walker, Iowa, Terry Mertens (Cindy Larson) of Nauvoo, Illinois and Andrea Puck (Dan) of DeWitt, Iowa; her sister Sharri Mertens (Ike) of Fort Madison; and her grandchildren, Sydney, Alyssa, Noah, Landon, Samantha, Carter, Ashlyn and Stephano Schiavone. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
