It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Nelson of Fort Madison, Iowa, who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Roy and Geneva Ortha Marsh (Swinderman); her husband Richard Earl Nelson; her brothers, Darrell Marsh and Roy Marsh; and her son Mark Nelson.
She is survived by: her son Dennis Nelson (Carla); her daughter-in-law Elaine Nelson; her grandchildren, Travis Nelson (Susan), Lindsey Fisher (Lee) and Nicole Nelson; and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Carter, Olivia and Aubree. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
