She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay J. Swegle and Rosamond Swegle (Cowles); her husband Vern; her brother Wayne E. Swegle; and her daughter-in-law Bev Peters.
She is survived by: her sisters, Nona and Winnie; her children, Diane Shough (Ed) of Osceola, Iowa, Dan Peters of Lisle, Illinois, Dave Peters (Ann) of St. Paul, Don Peters (Barb) of Washington, Iowa, Doug Peters (Mariela) of Melbourne, Florida and Rick Peters (Candace) of Riverside, Iowa.; her grandchildren, Eric Shough, Leslie Peters, Amy Beckman, Becky Peters, Katie Peters, Dan Peters, Sarah Peters and Ben Peters; her great grandchildren, Willow, Luna, Benson Peters, Sophie, Jason and Jackson Beckman; her siblings, Mary Evelyn Osenbaugh of Maineville, Ohio and Alan J. Swegle (Mary) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and her friend Clarence Hamman of Wilton, Iowa. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
