He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Tomlinson and Ruth Tomlinson (Patterson); and his siblings, Richard Tomlinson (Dicky) and Mary Coppinger Scott. He is survived by: his children, Ann Scott (Terry) of Fremont, Joan Carpenter (Tom) of Fort Dodge and Daniel Scott of Fort Dodge; and his grandchildren, Ray Hanson of Jackson Hole, Carl Hanson of Nebraska, Samantha Gilbert (Nate) of Fort Dodge, Kaitlyn Wardell (Brody) of Fort Dodge and Jayde Scott of Farmington. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (615 N 15th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
