He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Messerly and Mary Messerly (Myers); his sons, William and Wilbert Jr.; his son-in-law Richard Turnham; his brothers, Dick McCormick and Jim Messerly; and his parents-in-law, Ruth Joslin, Herman Schweertman, Pearl McCormick, Lloyd Timm Sr., Elvin Johnson Sr., Betty Joslin, Earl Joslin Jr. and Judy Zbiegien (John).
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Joslin; his daughters, Mindy Lankford (Joe) of Lehigh and Sarah Turnham of Fort Dodge; his grandchildren, Shaye, Blake Lankford, Alexa and Jasper Turnham; his sisters, Amelia Schweertman, Mary Johnson and Cindy Timm; and his sister-in-law Beverly Zahrobsky.
