He was predeceased by: his son Rick McClain; his brother Duane McClain; his parents, Earl McClain and Golda McClain (Fairchild); and his wife Marilyn Degen.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Penny Pattee (Charlie); his grandchildren, Jill Rasmussen (Elvin) and Michael McClain (Melissa); his great grandchildren, Keegan, Braxton, Autumn, Austin, Brayden and Brody; and his siblings, Kenneth McClain and Springs of Colorado.
