She was predeceased by: her parents, John Geerdes and Wilhelmina "Katie" Geerdes (Baumann); her husband Frank Rees; her sons, Pat and Ed; and her brothers, Wilbur, Marlin, Maurice and Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Rees (Michelle), Dan Rees, Roger Rees (Karen), Gary Rees (Peg), Kathy Goebel (Russ), Diane Jones (Randy), Paul Rees (Cindy) and David Rees; and her friend Win Flaherty. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.
