He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Tookey and Helen Tookey (Martin); his wife Marlys Shepherd; his children, Elmer Carlson and Joann; his son-in-law Frank Teel; his grandchildren, Jacob Thompson, Shaun Teel and Carrie Aageson; his daughters-in-law, Kim Brent and Teresa Tookey; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Wilson, Richard Wicklund, Ray, John, Phil and Rick Clendenen.
He is survived by: his former wife Sally Goodell; his children, Barrett Tookey, Lance Tookey (Roberta), Ray Dale Carlson (Renae), Michael Carlson (Michelle), Jeannette Spencer (Kevin), John Carlson and Lora Thompson (Ron); his sisters, Georgia Wicklund and Helene Wilson; and his siblings-in-law, Carlyn Juhl, Sherry Zingg and Larry Shepherd. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
