He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Halder and Ellen Halder (Peterson); his son Scott Halder; his former wife Mary Alice Nielson (Janet Halder); his brothers, Harvey, Marvin and Joseph; and his friends, Bob and Ulla Sanders.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Halder of Fort Dodge and Matt Halder of Fort Dodge; his sister Linda Weiskercher (Loretta Brundige) of Spencer; and his nieces and nephews, Bill Brundige (Tina) of Beloit, WI, Laurie Lagerstrom (Darrel) of Fort Dodge, Rob Brundige (Lori) of Byron, MN and Jeff Brundige (Kim) of Badger. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
