She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Wingert and Katherine Wingert (Dobmeier); her grandson Matthew Ellis; and her siblings, Leonard, Thomas Wingert, Lucille Wingert, Rita Fay, Lillian Genrich, Edna Meehen, Agnes Bradley, Mary Butler, Leo Wingert and Francis Wingert.

She is survived by: her children, Leta Koll (Jim) of Fort Dodge, Bill Cerwick (Cheryl) of Fort Dodge, Patricia Ellis (Randy) of Duncombe, Celia Taylor (Mark) of Fort Dodge, Chris Cerwick (Mary) of Fort Dodge, John Cerwick (Jodi) of Fort Dodge and Richard Cerwick of Fort Dodge; her sisters, Lois Barry of Long Beach, CA and Lee Cerwick of Fort Dodge; and her husband Donald W. Cerwick. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren.

She also sponsored Simon, a child in Kenya, for over 15 years through the Christian Foundation For Children and Aging.
